講者介紹：
Dr.Parveen Kaur is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Anthropology and Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, University Malaysia Sarawak in East Malaysia. She has over 25 years of academic experience which include leading, researching, teaching, training, supervising and consulting. Dr Parveen holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology and a Master of Philosophy in Human Development from University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. She is a recipient of the prestigious scholarship Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund Japan. Her wide range of expertise encompasses gender and women studies specifically in drug abuse, HIV, teenage pregnancy, delinquency, crime, disability, elderly, human trafficking, employment, marriage, health, education, power, poverty, language, culture, religion, sexuality, violence, deviance, and information and communications technology etc.
